Singing Bowls are a type of bell specially classified as standing bell. It is not a hanging or attached to a handle, but it sits with the bottom surface resting. Singing bowls are also known as Tibetan Bowls, Himalayan Bowls, Rin Gongs, Medicine Bowls etc. It is known as SUZU Gongs in Japan. The sides and rim of singing bowls vibrate to produce sound.
