Wooden Crafts

Forests are regarded as the wealth of Nepal. There is a saying in Nepal that "Green Forest- Nepal's Wealth". Thus wood was found abundantly and with that it was also the integral part of the Nepalese traditional culture and architecture. Huge amount of wood work was done in ancient time and such wood carvings have been survived mostly in the temples and heritages sites.
